Keep the snow globe out of direct sunlight. The globe acts as a magnifying lens and can cause a fire. Sunlight can also cause the water to color. Dust with a soft cloth. Glass cleaner is fine if you want to eliminate fingerprints.

You can usually take the minis on the plane in your carry-on luggage; however our standard size globes must be in checked baggage.

The globes are glass and the bases are hand cast resin.

Our globes are made of glass and are not toys for children.

Yes, they are permanently attached to the base.

Our standard globes measure 4" W x 4"  L x 5" H.

Our mini globes measure 1.75" W x 2.25" H

They weigh 2.5 lbs.

A set of four mini globes weighs 2 lbs.

We use a proprietary recipe for our snow. When it is mixed with glitter, we call it flitter!

They are designed in Vermont, and sculpted in California. They are individually made and hand painted by two small, family-owned factories in China.

The liquid is mostly purified water with some anti-freeze and a small amount of anti-bacterial mixed in.

We hope not!  That's why we put anti-freeze in them.  However, if left out in very cold weather for more than 6 hours, they may freeze.If the weather at the ship-to-address is extremely cold, we will wait until it is safe to ship them.  We will notify you if we have delayed your shipment.

The base and the interior scene are both made from cast resin.

Our globes do not play music.  We choose to focus on the interior as a work of art and the base as a pedestal.

Yes, each globe is well packaged in our presentation gift box.

Yes! But there is a 600 piece minimum. Learn more about our custom globes.

That is not a service we can provide. You might check with your local print or awards store who can probably provide a plaque or decal.

We add to the collection in the spring and in the fall. Many of our globes are limited editions, so when they are gone, they are gone.

Not at this time. Soon you will be able to write a message for us to include with your gift.

Though this rarely happens, please Contact us immediately upon receipt. We will ask for a photo of the damage. Once approved we will replace your globe.

We accept returns only within 30 days of purchase with a receipt. You must request approval prior to sending your globe back. If you did not purchase your globe directly from us, please contact the store where you bought it. See more info on our returns and exchanges page.
