Have you ventured into a NYC subway station? On your next visit to NYC go down to check out some of the magnificent mosaic artwork on the walls. 

The Second Avenue station is a favorite of many and has a online guide that lists all of the artists who really brought it. What used to be dingy common areas now showcases many artists.  

What a great idea, and why not? Graffiti artists have displayed their creativity for years, now artists have adorned the once glum walls with displays in an orderly fashion.
