The HARID Conservatory based in Boca Raton, Florida, sought shelter in Sarasota as Hurricane Matthew approached the east coast of the state recently. The Sarasota Ballet opened its doors to the nearly 50 students and staff from HARID, providing studio space so the continue training for the gifted dancers.
The HARID Conservatory traveled across the state on Wednesday with 38 students and 10 resident staff to seek shelter from the category 4 hurricane approaching the east coast.
Kudos to the Sarasota Ballet for lending a helping hand to the HARID Conservatory in a time of crisis. Students continued taking classes with the Sarasota Ballet School Staff throughout the week.
